ABOUT US

About the Vitamin Book Club

Every month, we hand-pick a single extraordinary audiobook and give you everything you need to get to know what's inside it.

With all the resources available to  us these days, it's easy to get overwhelmed. Let us do the work of  choosing top-notch titles and creating bonus content that makes it easy  for you to win.

A Warm Welcome for Every Title

Our Exclusive Introductions

We provide an exclusive introduction with each of our books. The tone is winsome, warm, and welcoming. We want you to feel like you're sitting in a bookstore with a steaming cup of tea, listening to an author share thoughts on context, backstory, and theme--details that prepare you for a rich listening experience.

Real Storytelling for Real People

Human Content. Human Voices.

Every title is recorded by a real human narrator. No uncanny  valley repetition. No ring of the hollow or the robotic. The Vitamin  Book Club wants books to be good for you, which means we always hire  real people to get inside this story to read it to you.

Artisan Production

Thirty Years of Experience

Oasis Audio has been in the business of high-quality audiobooks  for nearly thirty years, and we use only top-of-the-line equipment and  expert sound engineers to finish our products. In a generated world, we  offer artisan-quality audio. You remember what real voices sound like?  If not, let us remind you.

Discussion Materials and Curated Resources

Everything You Need for a Complete Listening Experience

Whether you gather around a kitchen table or participate a group chat, our book club materials do the heavy lifting. Each free, online kit includes a hearty discussion guide with thought-provoking questions.  We also provide curated links to essays, lectures, and podcasts that we can recommend for further study,

A Forum for Discussion

Join a Larger Conversation

The Vitamin Book Club Forum provides an online platform for you to  discuss what you've learned with others around the world. Discussion  questions will be uploaded here for a perpetual internet soiree.

A Forum for Discussion

Skip the Decision Paralysis

Because more is not always better. Because a  library of untapped titles is just noise. Because the best conversations  happen when you're talking about a book with someone else who has read  it.  Our curation and resources make it easy  for you to win.  All you have to do is take your vitamins.

Local Library of the Month | July 2026

Unicoi County Public Library

Tucked along Nolichucky Avenue in the small Appalachian town of  Erwin, Tennessee, the Unicoi County Public Library is a quietly  remarkable community hub with a fascinating backstory. Described by  visitors as a small, historic building filled with charm, it offers a  range of programs including homeschool groups and beloved children's  book bundles, making it a genuine gathering place for families.

The library also embraces the digital age, providing access to resources  like the Tennessee Electronic Library and Libby for e-books and digital  lending, and even maintains an Amazon book wishlist for community  donations. One of its more endearing features? A seed library  that  speaks to the rural, gardening roots of the region. The library is also  occupied by a cat named Story, who has risen to become a sort of local  icon in the community.

An unusual history sits beneath the Unicoi County Public Library, which  is located in an old train station. Before the age of refrigeration,  bodies were kept in the basement so that they would stay cool in  transit. Local legend says the building is now haunted.

Whether you're a lifelong resident or just passing through the  Nolichucky River valley, stop by the Unicoi Valley Public Library. This  little haven offers a warm reminder of the many ways a small-town  library can serve its community.
